Maybe this is common knowledge, but I didn’t realize there were ongoing efforts to build standalone Mac versions of Internet Explorer. If I understand right, they are using Crossover which uses Wine under the hood. You’re probably still better off using a true VM like Fusion, but this is interesting nonetheless. If you’ve got the patience for download sites like RapidShare and MediaFire, you can grab the IE6 and IE7 builds.
